The Silentnight anti-allergy duvet is filled with anti-allergy hollowfibre that actively protects your duvet from bacteria and dust mites to help prevent allergies. Our anti-allergy fibres are approved by the British Allergy Foundation, which means they have the ultimate seal of approval.
It is also machine washable at 40 degree which means you can keep your duvet fresh and clean for longer.

I got these and other anti-allergy items for a friend who was coming to stay with us, and who suffers from allergies. No sneezing or sniffing for the whole weekend, so it seems to have done the trick.

I bought this for my son, it's a nice thickness however seems ever so slightly larger for the single bedding I have so I do have to make sure it's in the cover correctly as can fold over at the edges

Having looked into your query, I can advise that the The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 state that duvet covers do not have to have a fire retardant rating. Therefore, we would not classify this duvet as being fire retardant.
However, I can confirm that it still meets the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations, making it safe for us to sell this to our consumers.
