Great toddler bed
Great toddler bed with a useful draw. Wood is quite soft so weight limit is low, no sitting on it to read bed time stories.

Brilliant new toddler bed
Fairly straightforward to build, good quality and very affordable. Our little one loves their new bed and has been sleeping really well since transitioning out of her cot
Jack, 25 - 34
Good value
It's ok for what you pay for it
Mike, 35 - 44
Excellent
I bought this bed for when my 2 year old grandson stayed over. It's fabulous. The one thing i would sat is buy a 10inch mattress not the one advised . I read a previous review which I'm glad i did advising this. The 18inch one would have been too high therefore being above the wooden guard which stops a child from falling out.

Looks good, bit of a faff to organise parts
Bed looks great and a success so far. Really nice looking. That being said - once mattress placed on, the side bars don’t really provide much height/protection. Faff to build which could be avoided - would be helpful if bed pieces were labelled (other flat packs have labelled/stickered pieces). All screws etc (there’s a lot) came in one giant bag to be sorted (again, other flat packs have come labelled and separated). I recommend an electric screwdriver and allowing a bit more time than usual

Hello Home Lover,
The supplier has advised the following for the Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Drawer - Grey:
"The Ellis toddler bed is made from solid Scandinavian pine. The underbed drawer is made from glue board panel made from Scandinavian pine."
They also add this too:
"The lacquer is tested and comply to several safety standards for formaldehyde, phthalates, heavy metals, lead and REACH. Lacquer is approved for baby products / cot beds as we also produce that, where the baby licks and bite in the bed."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Diana.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Storage - White:
The foot end height on the Ellis toddler bed is 41.2cm
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Ambs
Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Storage - White:
When unpacked, it should not emit any strong paint or chemical smells.
Thank you for using Q&A.
No, we used it straight away, didn’t notice any chemical smell at all. It was really well constructed
Hello Julia.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Storage - White:
The Ellis toddler bed is tested to BS 8509 safety and strength standard.
The bed base is tested with 1.000 Newton/100 kg. 10.000 times with an Ø20cm loading pad in 2 positions on the bed base.
So yes, I would say it can carry the weight of a toddler and an adult, which can be side by side in a 70cm wide toddler bed.
The width 70cm and the length of the bed 140cm automatically give some limits, so we do not think there is space for more than a total weight of a toddler and an adult up to 100 kg.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hi There.
Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Drawer - Grey:
Sadly, we do not have any images with the drawer fully extended however, the internal drawer dimensions are L:135.0 x D:70.4 x H:10.5cm.
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Angie
The drawer on the Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Storage, would NOT be capable of holding a mattress.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello There,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Ellis Toddler Bed Frame with Storage - White:
There is 20.1cms from the bed slats to the upper edge of the safety rail. With a 10cm mattress there will be 10.1cm left back above the mattress, which is enough to stop the child from rolling out of the bed.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello CM,
