This Pyrex Cook & Heat dish is made from borosilicate high tempered glass. It enables you to cook and bake in the oven (up to 300 degrees without the lid), then cool and freeze, store and reheat in the microwave, according to your needs. Equipped with a patented lid with valves, specially developed to release steam, it lets you easily reheat your meals in the microwave without making a mess. The airtight BPA-free lid with sliding valve and locking clip lid is also ideal for storing your meals in the fridge.

Just what I wanted!
This is just what I've been looking for! A microwaveable dish with a lid to stop all the moisture getting out into the microwave oven. The only slight misgiving I have is that the pyrex' conductivity is not as good as say, a china container. But that is outweighed by its usefulness! The size is just right. The fact that it also goes in the oven and dishwasher is an added bonus. So pleased with it!

Convenient, useful shape, easy to wash
Bought some months ago, useful size and shape. The sliders for closure works with vents for cooling down if needing cover and storing later, microwaving with lid left unlocked, with the vent left open also. Good for general food fridge storage. Not completely safe for travelling with liquidy food, but works with a little clingy film if you need to use for this purpose. Easy to wash by hand, like the seal, even if not iquid proof.

Yes. I can confirm that this can be placed in the freezer. It is safe to -40 degrees.

Yes, safe to -40C. Instructions with dish say it can take rapid 220C difference in temperature without problems. You do need to let it warm a little before putting frozen dish into hot oven but microwave should be ok (adjust times accordingly).
