Good mattress
I bought my son this mattress as his old one had seen better days. He has had it approximately 2 weeks now and no complaints. As mattresses go it did look quite nice compared to other ones.

The supplier has advised of the following for the Pia Natural 1500 Pocket Comfort Mattress - Single.
The full list of materials are as follows:
1) Like many of the covering fabrics on mattresses produced by our company and other manufacturers, some of the ticking materials on this product are treated with Chemical Flame Retardants for safety to ensure that they comply with the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) Regulations. The flame retardants used are registered with the European Chemical Agency in Europe and the HSE in the UK and are not listed as substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) by either.
2) The sleeping surface, border and tape are all woven fabrics.
3) The sleeping surface is 94% Polyester and 6% Polypropylene. The flame retardant treatment contains Diammonium hydrogenorthophosphate.
4) The tape edge is 100% Polyester. The flame retardant treatment contains Ammonium dihydrogenorthophosphate.
5) The border is 76% Polyester and 24% Polypropylene and has no FR treatment applied.
6) The underside is a non-woven fabric and is 100% Polyester. This also has no FR treatment applied.
7) The various filling materials include Polyester and Wool. None of these contain any chemical flame retardants.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Pia Natural 1500 Pocket Comfort Mattress - Single: ''The materials in this mattress are: Sainsbury’s British wool, pocket spring unit and polyester. The mattress is tufted and the fabric is woven.
Habitat fabric have a fire retardancy process, however it is applied through a solution added to the weaving process. This fire retardant solution does not contain any harmful chemicals and all meet the EU and British Safety Standards.''
