A great investment

This pan is the most expensive of the 16cm ones but we bought one before and the non stick came off (toxic) and then we bought one that couldn’t go on induction hobs. So we had to spend a bit more on this but it’s worth it. A great investment!
Bought to replace a stainless steel saucepan which was not non stick. Currently own Ninja frying pans, so was comfortable progressing to a saucepan. Cooks well on gas cooker, lid has a hole to allow steam out. Textures surface, happy with the pan.
I bought this to replace an ancient stainless steel pan of a similar size which was not non-stick and very scratched inside. The Ninja non-stick is brilliant, great for scrambled egg, sauces etc, and washes easily. The pan is very solid but not too heavy. PLEASE NOTE, the actual depth ( height) of the pan is 8 cms, the description gives it as much bigger.
but this Ninja is worth raving about. I can now make porridge and brown rice (not at the same time) that any Ninja would be proud to serve. The saucepan can be turned down low and even turned off with the lid on the contents simmer ever so gently. I shall buy a larger one soon.
The pan works perfectly with my induction hub. The zero stick makes it really easy to cook with little oil and then to wash later. The general feel of the whole pan with its steel handle is very good. Definitely glad I purchased this than a cheaper one that requires replacement in a few years. Make sure to register for 10 year guarantee!
I put 4 because I wanted to use it as milk tea or milk sauce pan which it works for but not ideal to pour out. I will need to get a specific pan with the slanted pouring edges so not really a con of this pan per se
Ee have other ninja saucepans and frying pans but just needed something extra and this saucepan suited our needs. We have a small electric hob and these are ideal for it. No sticking or burning
Ninja Zerostick Essentials 16cm Aluminium Saucepan With Lid:
Hobs have different sized rings for different sized pans. This is a smaller pan for use on the smaller ring due to optimal heat distribution and efficiency. A 12cm hob ring provides a more concentrated heat source that matches the base of the 16cm saucepan more closely. A smaller hob ring also reduces the risk of the pan’s handles becoming excessively hot, which can happen if the heat source is too large and extends up the sides of the pan.
