Reintroduced from the Habitat archives, the Hana collection remains remarkable in its contemporary appeal and timeless design. First launched 20 years ago, the Hana wide chest of drawers is crafted using solid oak and oak veneer. With dovetail joints and smooth opening actions on all the drawers, it oozes quality and provenance. Balanced, clean, iconic.

Good solid construction. Considerable discrepancy in the colour of drawer fronts. After a bit of arranging and rearranging it looked good.

Nice but draws wildly different shades…
Nice item of good quality. The draws arrive complete in three boxes of three. One box with a draw of each of the three different sizes. Unfortunately the final box I opened the draws were much darker than the other two sets. This made the unit look very odd. Supposed to have a replacement coming in two days but I have had zero email confirmation. Customer service is no fun to access… essentially have to call because all other options are a road to nowhere. Customer service seems to be overseas and whilst professional and polite it doesn’t en-suite confidence when I have had zero confirmation of the proposed replacement just two days out!!!

Good quality unit for the price
It's a lovely piece of furniture, in particular the solid wood drawers. Veneer on the frame doesn't really let it down too much. Assembly is difficult as one person and some bits only go in a specific way round but you can't tell by looking at them so make sure it you'll have to take it apart to fix.

Mixed feelings
I purchased this as I loved the design. I was fully aware it had oak and oak veneer but it wasn't specific regarding which parts were solid and which were veneer. The drawers are the only solid oak part and are absolutely stunning. However, the top of the unit is veneer and really let's it down. It is such a different shade that you can tell its not solid wood and it is such a shame. I am now trying to find a way of making it darker or finding a solid oak top to cover it so that it looks okay. If the top was solid oak it would be 5 stars.

The drawers are pre-assembled and packed separately to the rest of the unit which is flat packed.

I have recently had this item delivered and the only part made of oak is the drawers, everything else is veneer

Regarding the Habitat 60 Hana Wide 9 Drawer Chest - Oak. Only the bottom of the drawer is MDF with veneer, all of the other parts are solid oak.
