I needed it a new handheld mixer, so I’ve had KenWood for years and years, they’ve always been good. This one is very good even if it’s a little bit loud when you go on the fast speed that I don’t mind that I would recommend it.

Good piece of kit
Only two very minor points: The flex is quite rigid which makes it difficult to just wrap around when storing. I would like a slower speed on speed 1 (the slowest) . Otherwise has plenty of power and easy to use and easy to give a 'boost' of speed with a special button.

With the Kenwood HMP30 Electric Hand Mixer it's important not to operate the mixer continuously for too long. For the beaters, the maximum operation time is 6 minutes, followed by a 15-minute rest period. Overheating can occur if these guidelines aren't followed, especially with thicker mixtures like cupcake frosting.

The beaters are 18cm long, approximately 3.5cm of which go inside the unit.
This gives an effective length of about 14.5cm.
Whether this is suitable will depend on the specific recipe you are using and the size of your mixing bowl. As a rule these should be suitable for making cake batter.
