Lights are great, but unfortunately cannot be fitted to my existing wiring due to metal parts… I suppose I should have known this? Can’t afford to rewire house sadly. Hope to fit them somewhere else one day.
I purchased 15 of these in total, in an attempt to just find one that wasn’t faulty. Unfortunately I had to give up and source a different wall light elsewhere. Each one was misaligned meaning the arm was wonky and/or the side notches and/or the back plate. So disappointed. Attempts to feedback via various channels was frustrating, unsatisfactory and time consuming. Nobody has got back to me. I feel this is a quality control and product recall issue - with no clear route to feed this back. Been buying from Habitat (my go to) for 30 years, sad to see such a decline in quality.
A good wall light for reading in bed. Does need to be wired with a cable and plug and there is no cable inlet as such (so I cut a groove in the plasterboard), but this is all reflected in the price.
The design is good for the price. The build quality is also good for the price. The illumination is quite low however, which you may wish to consider if you are looking for a well -lit room.
Not many options out there for a wall lamp with a pully cord. Especially if you need one to be directly wired and not plugged in. Used it for over a month and happy with it. Very well priced.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Mushroom Steel Wall Light: The distance from the wall to the front of the shade is 24cm, the shade itself has a diameter of 13cm.
