This Swan Retro square sensor bin makes waste disposal stylish and easier than ever. Just approach the bin or swipe near the sensor bar, and it opens automatically, perfect for when you have your hands full. The lid then closes on its own after 5 seconds, providing fuss-free and hygienic waste disposal. The specially designed built-in retainer ring locks your bin liner into place around the rim for easy replacement of the liner. Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included).

Sensor can drive you crazy
It is a good bin but the sensor which takes four batteries just keeps going off soon as you walk past it and opening bin can drive you crazy!

Colour and shape fit perfectly
Square shape fits more efficiently in a corner. Automatic open and close helps to reduce mess on floor. A good buy for us.

Excellent Product!!
Excellent Product so much easier and cleaner to use, holds much more rubbish so doesn't have to be emptied as much and a lovely colour fits in with my kitchen. Very happy with the product and would highly recommend.

Nice from far but far from nice.
BATTERY OPERATED BINS I purchased two for my kitchen to facilitate recycling. Placing the bins I'm restricted to a certain area. Every time I walked past the bins they open and close. Ok if your putting something in them but walking past even at a fair distance away they open I took the batteries out and open and closed them by hand and it wasn't long before the bin lid became jammed. I wouldn't recommend them.

Disappointed
Bin was not cream more yellow looking. Quality poor iti returned.

Fab bin but yellow not cream
Was returned in exchange for a different colour because it is more of a yellow buttermilk than cream. The bin itself is fab, this is my review for the grey one :- "Great size & shape, easy to clean, modern. Sensor is on the front of the bin rather than the top so sometimes it goes off if you walk in front of it (only because we have it so close to our kitchen door). The flap stays up long enough to scrape a plate! The lid is the full size of the bin so loads of room to get your rubbish in"

Only downfall of the product, is with the lid being made of plastic and not metal as the Base is, the is a shading difference in colours which is noticeable at times.

If the batteries run down, the lid is removeable and the batteries can be replaced in the battery compartment inside the lid.

The sensor is battery operated and is located on the front of the bin lid. This will operate / open the bin lid when something passes it from 5-15cm away.
