Our Nomad chest offers authentic industrial styling with metal accents and an oak-effect finish. The wide 6-drawer chest has roomy drawers, pile in jumpers, jeans, linen and more, there's plenty of storage, all in one cool, modern look. The handles are all dark metal for that industrial edge and the drawers open easily on smooth metal runners. With plenty of hanging and folding space you can keep your room uncluttered and minimal, just as the look should be. As at home in the bedroom as in a studio lounge or loft.

Another good item from Habitat
Bought this for our daughter for a Christmas present and she loves it. It looks modern and not bulky looking because of the iron work bottom being open. Self assembly was fairly straightforward and took 3 hours, there were extra screw pkts so just make sure you use the right size. Very sturdy and heavy when completed, so very pleased with this item. I have purchased similar items like this before and have not been disappointed in the quality.

A pain to assemble, instructions don't mention any spare screws and stuff that comes with it. Just buy an ikea instead tbh.

Not a job for an amateur
An interesting design let down by poor assembly instructions. Page 1 shows where to put the sliders but very few measurements are given and the drawings are unclear. As a graphic designer myself I think my opinion has some value.

Hard to assemble
Really difficult to put together, one of the internal support boards split so glued it together, also the screws included to attach the drawer runners were too big. Improvised and looks good

I bought two of these a month ago they look really great in the bedroom I am really thinking now of buying the wardrobe to match very straightforward on the instructions to put together do recommend I like them a lot and they look good in my children's bedroom

Leave yourself plenty of time to put together but once your done its a great piece of solid furniture that certainly gives the impression it would last!

Solid and attractive
Beautifully packaged. Easy to put together. Solidly designed and built. My only issue was attaching to the wall with a strap to make it safe (following h&s guidelines) without seeing it. Looks fabulous though and is a great addition to my bedroom.

Best flat pack furniture I’ve ever bought
I’m always apprehensive with wood effect flat pack furniture as I always worry it will be cheap looking and flimsy which my last chest of drawers definitely was. As someone who doesn’t usually bother with reviews I wanted to write this one as I have been so impressed with both the quality and the ease at which it could be built. The wood effect is textured and high quality and the dresser once built doesn’t rock. It’s a very solid unit and was so impressed by it that I bought the matching three door wardrobe. The design is versatile and fits in a variety of spaces and styles. 10/10 purchase

To update on this, I refitted all the runners and they now work smoothly, however 3 out of 6 of the drawers fall out on their own! Any thoughts appreciated.

The Habitat Nomad 3 +3 Drawer Chest - Oak Effect 833/9649 would not match exactly with the Habitat Lloyd Single Cabin Bed Frame - Rustic Oak Effect 829/7080, Habitat Lloyd Cabin Bed With Headboard -Rustic Oak Effect 762/9525 and Habitat Lloyd Cabin Bed and Mattress - Dark Oak Effect 825/2393 as they are from different suppliers.
