After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Bounceback 10.5 Tog Duvet - Single: I can confirm that this contains Polyester Hollowfibre filling, with a Microfibre cover.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they say
"All our duvets are for Domestic use and under Uk fire regulations a duvet does not require to be fire resistant therefore does not display a fire resistant label . However the Polyester used for this bedding is inherently Fire Retardant. In other words, it remains fire retardant throughout its lifetime"

I haven't experienced it myself, but I'd say it will catch on fire if you try. As far as fire resistance goes, I doubt it's any more fire resistant than any other duvet. Looks pretty flammable to me though.
Sorry, I do not know if this duvet conforms to BS7175 with regard to fire retardant bedding - it may say so on the packaging, but I no longer have that to hand. Can Argos help in that respect?
