Good quality, handy size pan for single items
Perfect size for a small omelette, frying a single steak etc. Only missed 5th star because the central bit that's meant to turn fully red to indicate it's ready never does so, and I have plate hobs which get very very hot.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Tefal Titanium Excellence 20cm Non stick Frying Pan.
The comparison being made is between pans constructed entirely from titanium and pans that feature titanium particles within the non‑stick coating. In this case, the pan is aluminium, but the non‑stick surface is reinforced with titanium. This reinforcement increases durability and performance, allowing a lightweight aluminium pan to offer similar benefits to a full titanium pan, but at a more affordable price.

Hi Crystal, Tefal do not use Teflon coatings and in the 1960's Tefal created their own non-stick recipe. Cookware items with Tefal/T-fal non-stick coating DO NOT contain PFOA. This is regularly checked by independent laboratories, which verify the absence of PFOA in the finished products. Since 2003, tests have regularly been performed by independent laboratories in many countries (INERIS in France, ASAHI GLASS FLUOROPOLYMERS in the UK, FABES Labs in Germany, MB Labs in Canada and SGS in China). These tests have systematically proven the absence of PFOA in products with Tefal/T-fal non-stick coating.
